ay up shafter! im from sale which is in trafford with a manchester postcode and 0161 number. if i meet someone from outside manchester i tell them im from manchester because its easier but if i meet someone on the city centre i tell them im from sale. rag infested but the tied is slowly turning round here.

I've found the Morrisons in Eccles to have a worryingly large number of odd-shaped hump-backed or stumpy folk. I put it down to all those chemical-type places in trafford park. Everywhere else has been fine, whether it be Salford\Manchester\Trafford.
Lived in Didsbury, but left because there were to many joggers doing my head in. Now live in Trafford, which is fine except for ragday traffic. When people ask me where I live, I say Manchester, as the nuances of Salford\Manchester\Trafford\Bury (and so on and on) boundaries are completely lost on folks not from here.
