I've acquired this shit on the bottom of menu pages but not in actual topics early yesterday.

I've been messing about following 'how to disable 'etc. But aren't getting anywhere nearer losing 'youradchoices' .

It only appears on my mobi (android) which is on Chrome and not on my Chromebook so I assume it's something in my Moto phone settings that I've caught as a click happy bastard.Screenshot_20221020-092640.png
 
It’s nothing to worry about mate, you haven’t caught anything on your phone! It’s just a new ad unit we’re trialling on forum pages on mobile. Deliberately left it off thread pages so that it doesn’t impact your ability to read threads easily.
 
I got it on mine just now and when I tap on the downwards arrow on the ad to supposedly drop it down it automatically opens a new page for their website. If I don’t try to get rid of the ad it takes up over half of my screen.

It certainly shouldn’t be taking up half your screen mate. Could you possibly send me a screenshot and I’ll look into it? Thanks.

The shoes ad is the advert at the top of the screen and then there’s the different ad at the bottom. I cleared my history, cookies, cache etc afterwards and it seems to be behaving now.

That's not what the OP was referring to bud, he was referencing the little pop up ads that only appear at the bottom of the forums. In your screen grab you've got the remnants of one (the full screen icon & the 'x', you can click the 'x' to get rid of it) that may have caused your issues with the full size 'ZYN' ad. If it comes back, try clicking the 'x' to get rid of that first.

@Ric I've noticed this remnant a few times when closing the pop ups.

The little banner at the bottom I can live with it’s the huge video one on the front page that’s doing my head in.

There shouldn't be a video ad on the front page? Any chance you could send a screenshot so that I can look into it?
