Ya Ya is not working in the role he's playing. He's a big reason we are so slow getting forward. He loses our momentum. He passes backwards. He's not a quick enough thinker - the exact opposite of Silva.
I'm glad some blues are starting to see this.

Sorry mate - i missed this earlier. Yes, I imagine Kola can cross a mean ball. However at present he's not done it anywhere near enough for us. To be honest I'm also not at all a fan of him playing as a left winger. I know some people have said he looks great there but for me he's not good enough in the final third. Too often his shots/crosses are way wayward. I know he was bought because of his prowess in the final third and maybe he'll improve but I've not seen it enough so far this season...

His crossing and shooting is a real asset. It is wayward at times, but it only needs to come off 1 out of 5 times. Some of the balls he whips in really are special. Quite a lot of people on here were slagging him off before he got injured. It's a bit sad that people have to wait 'til he's injured to see how much we miss him.

The problem is that crossing is an absolute last resort for us - so we're only sticking maybe a half a dozen ball into the box in any given match. They need to be consistently accurate, or at least more consistent than they have been. I agree that when he gets it right they're spot on, but too often they are just too wayward IMO...

Spoke to AJ face to face outside the Player's entrance before the Wigan game, I asked him when he was going to be back he said 'soon hopefully next week' however that date has come and gone. Maybe this week....?
