This is over-exagerated. I looked on AJ's wiki page last season and he made 38 appearances in all comps for City. He was getting games and a player with his ability had the opportunities to make himself a regular.

Very disappointed he has gone, but I think that was entirely down to the player. In my view he's ducked a challenge. But what do we know as supporters. Views with little insight.
Yeah I agree. He ducked the challenge, seem to have lost the belief that the manager has faith in him.

Anyway, I believe Sinclair would be very different, as he has been at a top club once, and understands what it takes to be a first teamer in a top team.

Poor decision from Mancini this.
I'm very dissapointed AJ has left, he had the talent to become a top player, he just needed some tlc and nuturing. Mancini has not treated him right.

So where will the width in our team come from now ffs??.
Scott Sinclair is not the answer. I'm completely underwhelmed.
Hahah you´re funny... AJ was never the answer mate. Sinclair (if he comes) has pace and works harder then AJ does, that´s a improvement for me.

Good luck to him. Good player, even if he isn't quite good enough to challenge Nasri and Silva. I wish him all the best.

Thankyou Mancini for getting rid of that fucknut Adam Johnson and may many more wasters follow him out the fucking door. I've feared many players coming back to haunt us, this lazy c.unt will not be one.
I detest that mean-spirited, spiteful and brainless attitude amongst a small section of football fans. Thankfully it is only a small percentage of the low intelligence ones, not the majority view.

AJ is a great signing for Sunderland and I know he will fulfil his huge potential there given regular games and confidence.

Maybe that's his opinion and he's entitled to it, I too am glad AJ has gone, match of the day player, if there is a definition of one AJ is it. No need to label us who wanted AJ gone as low intelligence as I pretty much bet my IQ I'd considerably higher than yours.
For someone with a high iq your English is pretty poor.

It's not the sentiment of wanting him gone which bothers me. It's the tirade which goes with it. I see it every time a player leaves.

surely a couple of players can come in now? just sell Kolo and loan out Savic and bring in a CB and another midfielder-ish player, Bob said he wanted 2 or 3.

Sell Kolo and loan out Savic. Are you nuts or do you know something? Richards appears to be injured more than not these days. Selling Kolo would be the last thing I would do. It would leave us with our pants down and bent over if we had an injury to VK or JL.

Jonno did not progress sufficiently in his time here. However, i will never understand Mancini signing him as an out and out left winger, to persist on him switching to become a right winger. Adam has his flaws but i dont agree that tracking back was one of them, as a winger should be in his position, ready to spring a counter attack. He was largely wasted on the right imo, as he had to cut back in to cross a ball on his natural left foot, and as a result his attacking impetus was wasted, plus he was closed down quicker. I can understand Adam's frustrations at lack of match time, but i don't think he's consistently done enough to justify being a regular starter, as when he has started a game, he has tended to drift in and out of games and lose concentrtion. He's done a lot better as a impact sub(David Fairclough style) scoring some important goals for us. I think returning to his native north East is a good move for him and i'm sure he'll do well at Sunderland, but he will no doubt be reverted back to his natural left wing to finally fulfil his true potential that we never really had the chance to see. I wish him well.

I must confess I was shocked to hear he'd gone.
Really rate him and suspect he will keep improving for the next few years. Plus he's English.

I guess you never know what goes on behind the scenes though, and how much the new wage rules affect decisions. The boss has a great record so I suppose we have to back his judgement.

Doesn't have the pace to be a top left winger.
