Aj will be going to SA. Capello has done numerous interviews saying AJ will be his secret weapon. Think about it! 20 confirmed in his mind with 1 defender, midfielder n striker still to be decided. The midfielder will be chosen from Cole, Huddlestone, Lennon and SWP. AJ wil be there topping up the air miles imo

I reckon he's going. He said he didn't know all of his 23 before the game. Now he's said he does. So beforehand, that suggests that Johnson was either in his original 20, or had no chance whatsoever, and considering he's been getting rave reviews from training, i'd say he's going.

There is only 1 nailed on City player going and thats Joe Hart. I honestly think SWP , Barry and Johnson wont make the final World Cup squad.

It is to early for Johnson and I think Capello is looking at him more for next season Cole and Lennon offer more than Johnson does at the moment. Theo Wallcot will go just ahead because of his speed and when in full confidence he can add the odd goal as well. SWP lucky to be named in the 30 has not done enough to get into the English squad.

As for Barry no matter what I think of him as a player going missing his injury has fucked him up the arse to be honest. He wont make the squad for the reason of him getting another injury and ruling him out for all of the World Cup. It will be a Spurs love in all the Spurs players will be there except for the unlucky Dawson. Also Heskey should miss out for Bent like SWP hasnt played as much as he should. My views for what there worth take it with a pinch of salt if you want.

Hope he goes, but I think along with SWP he'll miss out with Lennon and Walcott taking the wide berths.

If Walcott goes infront of AJ I think i'll have lost all faith in humanity. What anyone sees in him is beyond me.

Agreed - Walcott isn't good enough imho... Based on performances I would take Lennon and AJ with perhaps SWP for his expereince if I was taking 3 wide men.

I hope to God Adam does make it. Based on what he's achieved at club level is phenomenal. He can use both feet, has a great attitude...I mean apart from experience what reasons are there for him not to go to SA??

We should take the players that are bang in form, that includes AJ, Dawson and Joe Cole. Players struggling like SWP and Walcott should be left at home.
