I'm still undecided about johnson. There is no in between with him. He's rather shit or brilliant no in between.

Surely his ability to beat defenders one on one and owning a terrific shot make him a starter even if he is inconsistent at times. Absolutely love watching him run straight at a defender, turn in and bend a shot at net. Honestly do not understand why people hate on this guy so much.

I too love see AJ playing in this fashion. However, if he could develop his right foot to be half as good as his left we will have a real threat on our hands. Too often the defenders can predict what he will do next ( cut inside) and the attack is often slowed down as it gets crowded in the middle. I think that with Micah at RB overlapping it could prove to be a very promising partnership.

i heard this. commentators mentioned it a few times. to be honest, it baffles me. if he scores at swansea are they going to say he's only scored in manchester, london and wales?

When you talk to fans of other teams, they all seem to rate Johnson highly, however they havent seen him much only on MOTD. He has a tendancy to look really good on that, to the point now me and my mates call him MOTD, as he will have at least 1 MOTD moment, and then do fuck all for the rest of the game, eg vs Villa - hit the post early on and may as well of gone off then, it was like we had 10 men he did nothing at all and again on Sat, he produced some lovely skill early on and i started shouting sub him now, that was it for 90 mins... i'm sure Liverpool would give us £20m for him, if they paid that for Henderson
