He has never had a bad game for us, his last game he didn't do much, but every other game he's ever played in for us and England, he has been one of, if not THE best player on the pitch.

Not casting him aside fella, but as others has said he is a prospect, and an off-form prospect at that.
I take it by saying he is our 3rd best player you only consider attacking players, not the rest of the team? Anyway recently he has been dire, so I'm honestly not sure you've been watching the right bloke.
He makes the odd run - very odd now - but when we are defending the game just passes him by.
And most worryingly when one of his team mates is looking for an outlet on the right, he has a funny habit of being hidden behind an opposition player, not finding space. Even in the game against Fulham I noticed this.
Now that may just be because he is losing confidence and off form, but he is still a great prospect and a game-changer. But whatever the reason to say he's our 3rd best player is either madness or WUMness.
He's not even in out top 11 players.
No way is he our 3rd best player, he's not even in the top 4/5 in a midfield/attacking sense.
Like him as a 25 minute player and he does have ability but his attitude seems terrible since he got an England call up. Before he realised that he was given a terrific opportunity to play for City but he's believed the hype and now thinks he deserves a spot every week. Hasn't shown the ability for 90 minutes to deserve a spot over someone else.
