Realistically they aren't going up this season with or without him so why would they turn down £5mil? I would walk away and tell his agent he can have £2.5 Mill signing on fee in the summer.
Isn't he allowed to listen to offers now because he is in the last year of his contract? What age will boro still get money for him (similar to us and Sturridge)

They can't turn down a bid that we wont be making. We arent going to sign anyone, and this will come back to bite us in our pursuit of a top 4 place. We are still lacking in certain positions when it comes to playing half decent sides, hence the Everton and United defeats. A small outlay could have paid dividends. Shame really.

I didn't hear it from anywhere. It's just my opinion and the feeling I get from what has happened so far this month. We needed reinforcements on January the 1st and still nothing. We will see on Monday if I am talking bollocks.
