Thought he did pretty well most times he got the ball,my only complaint would be the lack of times he did get the ball.

I think with a midfielder with a bit of vision feeding him more regularly he'd destroy sides.

Really does remind me a bit of a young Giggs in patches the way he weaves through defences.

SWP looks like a man with no confidence when he plays for us,become very predictable. Really hope he turns it around and picks himself up

the early signs look good,oddly he looks far better on the right wing.

Just for that run in the second half he deserves a thread

I keep thinking WOW he can only get better and he seems to improve with every game, just sort his final ball out and we will have a world beater!!!

Great signing by Mancini. Nice little player, and will only get better. The way he eases past defenders is really impressive.

More of a Marwood signing I think!

He reminds me a little of Tommy Hutchison , not got great pace but is able to just drop his shoulder or a little body swerve and send defenders the wrong way , a Joy to watch :-)

For a lack of pace he finds it surprisingly easy to beat players. And he can do it either inside of out... class

Very promising in the second half when he looked like he's been told to get at 'em and he certainly did.

Shades of Dazzler Huckerby but with more promise.

I love it how he can be running at almost full pace and within half a second and one touch he has dropped his shoulder and is off in the other direction, you get that buzz everytime he picks up the ball and he looks a great prospect.

Jinky is a top player. As some one else said he should be told 7 games on the right, Play your way into the world cup.

bella and johno do better on opposite wings however I would criticise Mancini for playing petrov on the right

Class player and a real asset to the club but do you think it was Marwood or Cook that got him scouted or did Manchini actually want him...

Seemed a strange signing for someone that's only been watching english games for a few months.

Coming up the stairs in 102 I overheard a conversation saying that they could not believe he could get past three players so easily and couldn't remember the last player to do so and basically I had to say what I thought. "Kinkladze" I responded. We both agreed though that he was a snip at £7,000,000!

Now, he's the interesting question I pose to you. Do you think he is better than Ashley Young?

yes he is miles better than young.

ashley young is a one trick pony and always drags it back onto his left wheras johnson can use both of his feet to equal effect

i have a tendancy to over react about new younger players, eg, weiss
but, when he gets all the premier league,champs league experience under his belt, he will be phenomenal

tooo inconsistent for me at times, but thatl come with time

He's got england player all over him.Just a shame the world cup has come a year too early, he should be involved for the euro's next time round.
