i would take adam to the world cup and believe it or not some of my rag mates are saying it as well,for me he is improving every game, it is a pity he has to keep dropping deep to collect the ball, i want to see how he does one on one with only the goalie to beat after, just to see if his head is cool enough?

Glad it's not just me that sees the resemblance! Great individual performance last night - His ability to cross, run at; and twist defenders inside out is joyous to watch.

I can't wait for his ability to read the game and anticipate his team mates movement to develop further.

A stunning acquisition.

I don't think he is quite ready for England lacks games yet hot prospect but I wouldn't go as far as saying he is better than Ashley Young yet Young is much faster which helps him beat a player easy Johnson relies on skill which he has go given more time he can only get better but for me as a City fan I wouldn't take him to the world cup we don't want another Walcott

The goal v Sunderland points to him keeping his cool, I`m impressed with his workrate as well, as you say him having to drop back to get the ball is not the ideal, but without a midfield its whats needed.

If we can get him on the shoulder of defenders his pace an skill will open most defences up, an I like the way he knows he aint the finished artical yet, so no charlie big bollocks attitude.

You know what, I've just had a thought regarding the Johnson/Ian Curtis thing and the fact people are calling for a Johnson song. Surely it's screaming out to have a Johnson song to the tune of 'Love Will Tear Us Apart'? I mean, Ian Curtis was a City fan after all! What do you think? This would be a new thread if I was allowed *grumble*

To start off, what about something like...(to the tune of the chorus, of course)
