This could be it...
He is one of the best Young English players as far as being comfortable on the ball, irrespective of the situation.....but how good does that make him at world level?

I only ever saw Shaktar a couple of times and though I was pointed out Willian, the players made me take note were Srna and the bald Brazilian guy in the middle. Strange seeing all these comments about how Lallana is not good enough for City when Milner and Navas are. Lallana is different to those players, but he is by no means inferior to them. I don't think Lallana has the potential to be world class, but can be an important member of any first team. I think he is/will be as good as the likes of Kagawa, Carzola, Willian and Countinho. It's just a shame for him that City, Chelsea, United and Arsenal are so stacked in those positions. If he had made the break through earlier then he would probably have been bought and been in the first team for a top 4 (+United) team.
Willian and Coutinho are both very young, I'd go as far as saying for Shakhtar, Willian was close to being World-Class, the difference with him this season is that Mourinho doesn't let his attacking players express themselves, I guarentee if you gave MP Willian, he'd be vying for player of the year.
The thing is Willian has been given the opportunity to express himself in the games where teams park the bus and he has just not been effective enough. It's not the games against Liverpool and City where he has been ineffective, but the games against West Ham and Sunderland. I do expect him to improve next season. Willian and Coutinho are young, but so is Lallana. They are roughly the same age.

I put his ineffectiveness more down mourinho's negative football, I wanted us to go for him, he's going to be an excellent player.

Fair enough, I had heard lots about him, but not seen much before he came. 25 millions decent bussiness to me, he's more than able to step up to the next level.
Was in same year as him at school in bournemouth. He's always been insanely talented! You just knew he would end up playing at highest level...

Young lad at althetico better than him that would go for similar if not cheaper. He's a good player but anything over £15m too much.

Southampton will be looking for more than £25m. I do rate the player but not at that price.
