reported 2nd nov. attacking midfielder

He's not ready for a top competition.
He exploded because he was a complete unknown replacing the injured Martens. Now the Dutch teams know how he moves and thinks and start to mark him closer and he's struggling.
Give him another season and a half to see how he deals with that before he should even think about moving competitions.

Huge talent. Excesses in no-look passes...superb ball handling skills. Started as offensive playmaker under Verbeek this season. Now that Maarten Martens returns, Maher is being played as DM again, which is his initial position. He mainly thrives on his ball handling skills to fill in any position.

Holland is producing some fine Moroccan talents lately. Affelay went from PSV to Barcelona. Aissati experienced some setbacks in his career, currently running last contractyear at Ajax. Leftwinger Oussama Assaidi is the next dutch-moroccan starlet

Probably on his way out from Heerenveen to Italy this january. PSV have some problems holding on to Zakarya Labyad, who might be switch to Sporting Lisbon, while Chelsea is on the radar too. And the Ajax-youthsystem produced Ouasim Bouy, who went to Brazil with the 1st team last week. Bright times for Morocco

How about that kid zakaria bakali? I thought City were trying to sign him

Inside reports are mixed. Family members saying he won't leave because he prefers to makes his debut @ PSV first. Sources within the club however highly doubt whether he'll sign a contract in Eindhoven. He's still not 16 years old, which does not make him egliable to sign any contract in Holland.

At least he's going to stay in Eindhoven until the summer.

Bakkali just turned 16 which makes him egliable to sign a contract in Holland. Contract has been offered in an earlier stadium, but he did not sign yet. Possibly, the interest of Sporting Lisbon (who will probably sign Zakarya Labyad from PSV too) has something to do with it.

Juventus snubs Bouy from the Ajax-academy. Another moroccan player to a bigger league.

Anyone know whether this lad is a prospect, a project, close to contributing now or is already an impact player?

There's been a few articles and editorials to the effect of Maher joining us (and wanting to) and that he'd replace Nasri... but as I don't follow his league I've no clue about him.
