If anyone caught the Wolves vs Everton game last week sums up Traore as a player fairly well.
Far too inconsistent & raw at such a relatively footballing mature age.
He came on as late substitute and first couple of balls to feet went flying off his boots & lost possession far too easily. Next series of play he beats full back for pace and puts in a delightful low driven cross which wasn't converted by the Wolves striker. A further goal scoring opportunity arrives from Wolves via a fast paced counter with Jota leaving the goalkeeper stranded by crossing to Traore with an empty net to aim for and some how he misses it by driving it hard & high onto the crossbar. Final series of play Traore picks up the ball in the centre circle and bulldozes himself past 3 Everton defenders before eventually committing a foul by losing the ball and trying to win it back.
Definitely a wild card player, but I think Pep normally prefers individuals who are more complete & at least can pass the ball far more frequently & accurately.
