Ade back in training.. so for wednesday?

After reading the customary excellent Today's Training thread, it seems that Benjani was conspicuous by his absence. Probably down East London taking a medical for Zola.

this is my fan formation ;}

we have already seen vivid hints of how ade can be very creative with the ball (3 player dribble through anyone?). during hughes we used to utilised long balls because he was the man up front. the strategy was great because ade, when the ball lands on him, creates havoc. but the flaw to the long ball route was the ball hardly ever reached ade who lines with the offside trap and often got caught, legit or not.

i believe the scum will have fletcher and carrick, with rio and evans on CB. tevez needs a holdball player. ade is very accurate in terms of passes and without the need to worry about the offside trap and not winning headers from long ball, he might just add an extra level to a pacey counterattack to hold for swp and bellers

having said that, i expect him not to play 90mins as ireland has the potential to be that supersub that forces their hand to sub too. and seeing that he might not have the right mindset to do any shooting yet, he might be useful in providing the holding and passing. or if he sees fit, he can just blast from 20 yards out anyway.

having ade might also force them to play true man-marking with evans on adebayor, and rio on tevez.
