Adebayor - An Olive Branch to Mancini?

I have no idea if Ade is lying, delusional or bang on the money. Its irrelevant. I am purely looking at the managers who are seemingly happy to see him move elsewhere or unprepared to spend the money necessary to keep him. At some point you have to ask yourself why this is so.

Jeez that's a little wet behind the ears. You don't think players get moved on for non footballing reasons?

EDIT:

That's in reference to Wenger and Mancini. Because I could give you compelling arguments for why both men moved Ade for those...

I'll pass on the compelling arguments. Truth is in this week of all weeks I don't really care why Ade isn't at City, Arsenal, Real Madrid or Brixham bloody Wanderers.

-- Thu May 12, 2011 10:34 pm --

My opinion: Mancini put him on at the end of the game to waste some time and close it out. The fact that Ade had no interest in the outcome of the game and only in his own situation proves that he doesn't give a shit about MCFC or it's players or it's fans, in spite of how much the club were paying him. I think that this is what proved to Mancini once and for all that he couldn't work with this player anymore.

I can't for the life of me imagine Dzecko getting all pissy if the same thing was done to him, he just gets on with it, and I think that this attitude will pay off in the long run.

And FFS, how many times was Ade offside? Is he mentally slow?

He has done the same at arsenal and now here, when he talks about him self in the third person you know he is talking shit, yeah maybe he made people laugh put on the pitch nearly every player told him he was a lazy fucker bellemy tevez yaya kompany all had run in with him because of his attitude.

In one interview he talked about being made to wait on the side line with about another 10 players ho bobby didn't want, when have we read a training report saying this?

You can't take away the fact the guy nearly got shot up and that would have a big effect on any one but to do this shit i have lost respect for him and all those who say yeah we need him it wouldn't be long till your shouting at him again when he doe's fuck all on the pitch.

This is basically just another player trying to find excuses for his inconsistent form and trying to hide behind the fact he "doesn't get on with the manager". The fact is, he only played well when he could be arsed, even before Mancini arrived he was like that. That Spurs game under Hughes when we lost 3-0, he was absolutely dreadful that night. He was like that for Arsenal as well, very inconsistent.

He can be great when he wants to be but never did it enough for me. Fuck all to do with who the manager is.

Well said mate, i think thats the opinion of most bluemmoners who have seen play for both us, arsenal and madrid in the past few years, instead of those judging their opinion on how nice he was when they bumped into him once

For the Adebayor lovers:

Adebayor lacks discipline - Keshi
Written by Dipo Ogunsola Sunday, 15 May 2011

TOGO'S Emmanuel Adebayor will continue to change clubs as long as he remains indisciplined in his attitudes, the player's former coach, Stephen Keshi has said.

Keshi coached Togo to gain its first ever ticket to the World Cup finals in Germany in 2006 but the former Super Eagles of Nigeria's captain had running battles with Adebayor, then Togo's captain.

''I know he will not be retained by Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid. He is such a big talent but he is difficult to control, he has to change his ways and be a good kid, then everything will go on smoothly for him.'’ Keshi recalled that Adebayor was a hero at AS Monaco of France until he rocked the boat at the French Ligue One club. ''He had a big problem with Didier Deschamps until Arsene Wenger came to his rescue by signing him for Arsenal of England.

Keshi is on his second sojourn to Togo and explained that he would only do with players who fall in line.
