So, so about this. His work-rate isn't great & he never tracks back to help out.

His work rate at the start and second half of the season were pretty good i thought, lacked a bit when the whole team stuttered up to Hughes being sacked, but i don't think he generally works less hard than the majority of strikers. It maybe just looks worse when he's parternering Tevez.

I think Tevez and Ade could be an extremely potent pairing if they actually get a good run of games together, they never really had time to get the understanding.

I also think we need another striker though, they are the only 2 we can rely on, and if we're after another we won't sign a back up striker, so unless maybe Tevez is going to drop into a deeper role, not sure they'll be the initial starting partership. Lots of games next season though so everyone in the squad will have a big role.

great news i love ade he is a fantastic striker and i cant wait to see him score loads more next season , 14 despite suspensions is extremely impressive . Start to finish i reckon 22 goals overall , any other estimates ?

For me, everyone has a clean slate and a chance to impress next season.

Adebayor had a mixed season for us, but ultimately a rather good one (14 goals from a striker is nothing to turn your nose up at, especially when he isn't the main goalscorer). Next season, he will have a new lease of life (the joy of a child outweighing the tragedy of the team bus), so hopefully he will produce.

Yep all those goals he got didn't help the cause one bit. He hardly played and still scored more than many 'legends' of yesteryear. He's a class act.
