Don't worry about Chelski. Every time we're negotiating terms with a player, the media says Chelski are intent on hijacking the deal. They even said it about the Kaka to MADrid transfer. I can't understand why people are still swallowing it.

this was reiterated on talkshite.
it is a big deal and a big decision for adebayor as this may be the most important move of his career.
he is entitled to dwell a little.
we have even a work permit for him.
if he wasnt keen to sign then surely he wouldnt have agreed to do this.
everyone needs to relax and realise that this is very likely to happen , and soon
if it falls through, ok it will be a bit of a blow.
but there are other players out there who we could get and we arent going to sign anybody shite !
im guessing its all but done just wait for an announcement

Perhaps but we won the Tevez battle and that is the one I really wanted. If he doesnt sign I will not be too bothered. That said, I would like him though.

Ade fits at Chelsea though. They want a big Striker and Ibra has just gone to Barca so they need a new target.
Ancelotti wanted Ade at Milan and who does he manage now?
There are lots of African players at Chelsea.
All the pieces of the puzzle are there with the added factor of Chelsea LOVING to get one over on us due to the JT saga.

The Ibrahimovich deal has only happened officially in the last hour so I think Chelsea will be straight in for Ade after losing out on him.
We've all been saying in this thread how Ade is only 2nd best to Ibra in the world as a big striker.
