I think they probably mean in an attacking sense, theres no way we'll not bring in at least one defender but i doubt we'll buy any more forwards if we get Adebayor

a top five striker in the best league in the world is still a very good thing to get.

however adebayor CAN drift about between 3rd best and 5th/6th best, he can even get 2nd best sometimes, but he will never seriously rival Torres.

There is no way Rooney would get ahead of Adebayor on my list, baconface doesn't even play him as in that role normally.

agree with this, the question you have to ask yourself is who you think will be higher in the goalscorers table next season.....and for me its Adebayor all the way

imo the top 4 strikers in the prem are:

1. Torres
2. Drogba
3. Adebayor
4. Anelka

bearing in mind that Drog and Elk are in the last couple of years of being top players and Ade being 25 then i would say behind Torres he would be the best prem striker we could choose to have.
