Arsenal stand to make a £22 million profit on Manchester City-bound Emmanuel Adebayor as the Togo striker made a further step towards a deal with the Citizens following a successful medical check at Eastlands, according to the BBC.

Various nes sources, including the BBC, are reporting he's passed a medical and will have a work permit meeting, no-one 'official' has made any further comment. In short, we don't know!

If they're having the work permit hearing today then yes I'd suspect it'll be over by now. However it mighyt not happen until tomorrow and, even if the hearing is over today, the signing doesn't have to happen straight away. Just be patient and wait to see.

Not fussed when it happens really as long as it happens before the start of the season. I'll just go with the flow on this one. The one I really wanted to happen last season was Tevez so I am going to relax throughout the rest of the transfer window and enjoy it.
