So we've sold the Boj then?

11 starts in two years suggests we can't rely on him.

We have 6 attacking forwards who I mentioned in my post, I personly think that's enough, as we weren't exactly short of goals last year were we?

At times, at others we could have plaed for 5 days and still wouldn't have come close.

Again I'm not saying no to Ade coming just that we're not really in dire need and could probably afford to wait till January if need be and see how we're doing.

But why wait? Were getting on with other targets aswell.

Let's also not forget if another striker does come more than likely 2 of those 6 I mentioned will probably be sold/loaned.

Doesn't matter, as Adebayor is better than any strikers we currently have.

And who's to say a few months after we sign Ade, he won't throw a strop about something and start playing and acting the way he did for Arsenal last season?

If we do end up signing him great, hope he does the job for us, just a shame about the Boj and Big Phil.

I'd just rather us concentrate on the defence now as that's more of a priority IMO at least one CB and a LB to compete with Bridge.

defo dont need any more strikers.. what is more concerning is the defence. Citeh has enough strikers now... buying anymore is stupid. They will end up moaning about not getting enough games and worrt about their chances of not getting picked for the World Cup next year!

I say focus more on defense now as the attacking options are pretty much sorted now.
Focus on bringing in Lescott, JT and maybe another defender. Would defo want to see Marek Jankulovski in the team though. What an exciting left sided defender, good with free kicks and bring out the ball and supporting on the attack.

I'd have a strop if I was being booed purely for rubbish in the papers and not what I was doing on the pitch. They made his best mate (Eboue) cry ffs! The Arsenal fans were well out of order last season.

Too many new fans at the Emirates who know shit about football. And that's NOT an insult to all Arsenal fans, they have many great fans like us but when they expanded to 60,000 you got all the prawn sandwich lot.

I hope we don't go the same way.

Our strikers next season should be:

Tevez & Bellamy on the right
RSC & Ade in the middle
Robby on the left

I'd keep Bojinov OR Caicedo but not both. I think Big Phil has already said West Ham want him. I'd only want them to be loaned at this stage.

Evans is going to Sheffield United isn't he?

And I just wish someone would take Benji off us! I'll love him for THAT GOAL (off his shoulder) but he needs to move on.

So really we only have 4 main strikers if we sign Ade with Robinho free or on the left. And then Boj as back-up would be my choice. I don't think that will suit Boj though. He needs to play a lot of games next season after all his injuries so I think he will be loaned out.

Adebayor was right in his Arsenal dispute.

It was reported that he wanted to go to Milan. He never said this. It was just reported.

Even if it was the case they wouldnt let him, so he had to abide by it - fair enough. He was under contract.

But THEN, for the Arsenal fans to boo him on a regular basis is not good, and serves no fucking purpose at all.

How the fuck can they moan about HIM, if they were booing him (and he still got 16 for them last season) ?

That'd really be something. Didn't we score 1 goal from a corner last season? When Dunne barged it over the line from an Elano corner? Or was that last year?

Regardless it would be exciting to threaten from set pieces once in a while. Recently, unless we slam it in straight from the free kick, it's a complete non event.
