adebayor's agent on talksport now and says deal is 100% done but he was sold without knowing whilst he was still on holiday.
adebayor wants a couple of days to think about it but should be done sometime this weekend,city wanted him on the tour but because he wants a couple of days to think about it he wont be going on the tour of SA.
his agent says that city have been fantastic and patient waiting and adebayor isnt messing city about and is really flattered and will sign for us.
there HASNT been any other intrest from any other club and he isnt trying for a move to another club and the only reason he is thinking about it an extra couple of days is because its happened very quickly.

This is a real test for the manager if thats what the scousers want as we all would prefer Ned but Hughes wants 2 cenre backs and probably Ned is not THEN his first choice

Latest I have is that the main stumbling blocks over a few personal details have now been sorted and he should undergo a medical this weekend. (I believe reading the papers while away that he had already undergone a medical, he hasn't!) City hope to have him available for the game on Tuesday. Sorry i can't be more specific and will post more if and when i get it.

Who's happyblue? Sorry I'm fairly new on here and don't meant to doubt him but does he have good sources at City? Is he known to be reliable?
Sounds like great news if true (re: Ade) not so much about Ned! Ned is a true blue, more so than Micah and he's a really intelligent footballer aswell. Really hope Nedum stays AND plays a lot of games next season.

nah it didnt come across as he was stalling mate,it seems he needs to sort things out at arsenal first and he might just be dragging his feet because arsenal sold him without even telling him lol

He didn't say he wouldn't go on tour to SA, just that City wanted to sign him and travel on Wednesday, but that was always unlikely.
Although with the second game on Tuesday, its unlikely he would go there.

What a strange interview it's done but he wants time to think..... hmmmmm oh well what will be will be!
