Emmanuel Adebayor has issed a come and get me plea to Juventus as his Manchester City future comes under a full-scale attack.

Having been told he can leave the club, with Mario Balotelli's arrival from Inter looking possible despite questions over wage demands, Adebayor is hoping Juventus stitch together a plan to rescue him from the brink at Eastlands.

There has been no official confirmation from City that their man is on the transfer market, but his words suggest he will leave.

"Juventus are a great club in which I would like to play," he told Tuttosport.

"Until some time ago I would not have accepted a transfer to other clubs. I wanted to wear the City shirt and have a better season compared to last year, but I know there will not be many chances for me and so I am considering the many offers I have received.

"I am sorry to leave the Premier League, but in Europe there are other top leagues."

Juventus have been linked with the striker after general director Giuseppe Marotta closed the door on Wolfsburg hitman Edin Dzeko after learning the Germans won't lower their €40 million demands.

He'll be going nowhere IMO unless we have a ready made replacement and going by all the latest "news" that ain't happening soon. With Cruz likely to go if we lost Ade as well we'd need another striker on top of Balotelli (if he ever comes....). Not easy when you consider the standard we'd be looking at.

We need new strikers urgently if Adebayor is to leave.

Roque, Robinho, Jo, Caciedo, Bellamy will all leave which will leave us with Nimley and Tevez up front with a week to go till the new season.

I'm worried now, really worried.

Looks like Dzeko/Torres is happening then........

IMO we will see two sign between the following four:

Balotelli
Dzeko
Torres
Ibra

I'd guess the top two but if not Dzeko then Torres.

if ade leaves i will be shitting it come spuds opening day of the season we are left with carlos upfront on his own and a not fully fit tevez either . Maybe ade is going cos we alredy have a deal other than balotelli set in place maybe but i duno . Or balotelli will go staright into the first team and leave ade on the bench causing him to leave . Also how would juve match ades wages ?

We'll certainly need someone coming in NMF. If Adebayor and Bellamy leave that is two huge players to replace. It's alright slagging off Jo, Caciedo etc but they still need replacing if they leave, especially if we're intent on winning the league this season.

I agree, but I dont think we should worry. I think City already have the replacements lined up and maybe even have the deals agreed and signed. Who knows but either way we will get it sorted by KO on the 14th.
