Adebayor.....

Tevez City said:
He is not scoring, but he is creating goals and chances.
He is doing very well and will help Spurs to compete for the title this season.

Is this account schtick? honest question

I know it's unbelievable but I genuinely think this is his true opinion.

spurs are not going to compete for the title

IMO, they have more chance of competing than Liverpool, Arsenal & Chelsea.
That's not your opinion, you just read it on that thread with the bloke who said we've won the league already and repeated it.

It would take an extremely deluded person to genuinely believe that Spurs will be competing for the TITLE this season.

Almost as daft as someone stating that Tevez should play again for City.

Oh....

Quality post

His goals have dried up for sure but he's playing well, his build up play is far superior to anything else we have to offer unfortunately.

3 goals and 5 assists isn't bad at all, he didn't have much of a pre-season either so I think he's only going to get better.

he's following a bit of a pattern here though. great at first, but aftervthe novelty wears off hes either inconsistent or just frustrating. such a good player when he wants to be. not sure if anyones figured out how to keep him playing at his best, yet, tho

I know that is the general perception of Ade, from what I saw he was pretty consistent for Madrid when he played there although I guess it wasn't for too long...

We had gooners queueing up to tell us how Gallas was going to destroy the team spirit and bar injury problems he has come in and been fantastic for us.

Same with Ade, yeah it would be nice for him to get a few goals against Villa to break his duck, but I couldn't give a flying fuck who scores the goals as long as we're winning, which we currently are doing, and Adebayor has been one of the main reasons we are winning.

He was not consistent for Real Madrid at all, he was missing sitters in too many games, in one he missed three one-on-one chances. He scored 8 goals in 22 games for a team where it's hard NOT to score all the time. Real wanted him but on the cheap as a 4th forward and wouldn't pay us more than 8mil for him so we told them where to go.
