Looked more threatening than Dzeko has for much of this season. 18 goals in 36 games is pretty bloody good no matter which way you look at it. His first season stats for us were also promising. So the inevitable question:

Would you keep him?

Dzeko's scored 19 to Adebayor's 18, so no.

Dzeko is a far better player imo but Ade is still a very good player. I'd sell him to Liverpool if they are interested and are willing to pay a fair price. Spurs will try to get him for nothing so he can't stay there - for the principle of it if nothing else.

Liverpool fans constantly tell me they badly need a decent striker but when I suggest Ade they think he's not the right fit. But I think he'd be perfect for them. Could be close to top scorer in the league imo.

Adebayor got much longer runs of games more often compared to Dzeko who ended up a bit part player. Dzeko done excellent at the beginning, it was no surprise his form later faded as he was often rotated.
