Great news. I'd go so far as to say that we should tell Spurs to fuck off if this is true. Let them go for their back-up options of Lionel Messi or Christiano Ronaldo.

If Spurs continue to try to take the piss, I'd tell them to do one. If Adebayor doesn't like it he can rot in the reserves for all I care.
