Adebayor signed a contract with our club for wages, he is entitled to them, if he wants to spend next two years with the kids that is up to him. Stand firm city, honour his contract, only one loser footballing wise that will be the player.

Marwood is part of the recruitment committee so he could be held part responsable in Adebayor's move along with Hughes. We didn't land Samuel Eto'o who was our original target so Brian Marwood's suggestion was Emmanuel Adebayor who was also unsettled at the time.
