Anytime I click on a topic, it takes me to a random add. It’s becoming almost unusable!

You've either got sausage fingers and using a small mobile screen or you need to clear cache & cookies for all time.

Hopefully the latter as surgically making your fingers thinner could be an issue.

Try clearing just the BM cookies for now at least (you'll need to sign back into BM only this way), for Chrome desktop try:-
