AFC Bournemouth (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Poor performance against a motivated and hard working mid table team chasing a Europa league spot. Frankly half of the team are not or no longer good enough. Lots of work to do whether Pep goes (he is my view) or stays.
Only positive is that set piece FC did not win it on the pitch so it’s a muted celebration! No 93.20 moment for them or their fans

Not great living about 10 mins from the Emirates, the cunts are out in force. Not that I can blame them

We have struggled away throughout the season; games have been very even away from home . 2 cups is a good outcome after the disastrous January and early Feb we had

I know we’ve all been spoiled for 10 years but what the fuck was that? Going out like that? At least try for the thousands who travelled down for you. Again, just absent when it matters most.

We were obviously knackered and up against a side who had had a long rest. Put the effort in but just not to be.

Wasn't a fan of the starting line-up and some tired performances (no idea how Rodri stayed on to play the 90 mins when he was clearly not fit and was playing poorly).

A very good season overall though. 2 cups and 2nd place in the league. I'm not going to grumble at that.

Let's enjoy the last game without any pressure and look forward to an exciting new chapter next season.

Dismal.

2 trophy seasons are great but that performance coupled with the Pep news has whitewashed all the enjoyment of the cup wins for me.

Feel like absolute shite

Arsenal are not and never will be deserved champions. They have had luck and so much help this season.

I think they will fail to do a repeat.
That’s not fair.

Over the course of the season they’ve deserved it more than we have. Their style might be ugly and negative but we’ve put in far too many half arsed buckets of shit like today. That doesn’t win you titles.

Arsenal are nowhere near the best side to have won the league but they do deserve it, mainly because the competition have been so shit. City and the dippers have both been shite in the league.

Arsenal deserve it as much as Leicester did.

Gratz Arsenal, did deserve it more than anyone else this season. Would like to see City go all out on some true world class players in the summer, this team lacks quality in some key areas to get back to being dominant force in league and Cl.

Why did he take semenyo off. Why did cherki not start. When Doku is shit he’s shit. Can khusanov handle the big games.

Utter garbage all night

Fucking stupid team selection from Pep in a must win game. No idea what he was thinking there. One last brain fart for the road, I suppose.

Well done Arsenal. Held your nerve far better than we did over the last couple of weeks for supposed bottle jobs. Well deserved over the course of the season. Congrats.

We're still half a dozen real quality signings away from a squad that can get over the line. Been utterly tonked at the top level in the champions league and second best to an Arsenal team who aren't great.

FA Cup and Coca Cola Cup trophies are papering over a lot of cracks.

I think a change of manager might be good. Not that I'd want rid of Pep but if the club are hellbent on signing players like Sememyo and Marmoush who simply do not have the footballing ability to play Pep's way, then we need a manager with a different approach and maybe less focus on intricacies.

Well done to the fans who travelled there tonight. Deserved better. Apart from that prick who had the bottle a few weeks ago. Made a right knob of himself now we are the ones who bottled it.
Totally agree about the bellend

Totally agree about the bellend with the bottle

And this is why Guardiola drives you fucking mental
He found a winning system and tonight throws it out of the window by starting with Rodri, Bernardo and Kovacic
Then, so fucking insanely, he leaves an unfit Rodri on who's blowing like fuck
And when Pep leaves, I hope he takes his lovechild, Savinho, with him
What a waste of fucking time and effort he is
Absolutely no positives from tonight's game
FFS Savinho played really well.. He looked our only dangerous player
