AFC Bournemouth (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Not to be for us, got to say that second half performance was pathetic. Not much more needs to be said...

Fuck the tarquins, and up the PSG.

Up the blues.
It wasn’t pathetic. They were all out of gas. Something we can improve on definitely next year, along with some other things

Poor performance against a well organised Bournemouth team. The players looked spent after playing so many games in such a short amount of time. After the last 24 hours, I wasn't even that arsed about the game tonight, I couldn't really get that worked up about it. I think it's probably time for something new, but I'm not really that enthused about the prospect of Maresca. It will be interesting to see if a new manager can get a different tune out of the players, if Pep goes we will most likely decline though.

Poor tonight against a tough opponent.

Get Sunday out the way and who the fuck knows what next year will bring?

Pundits already musing about how Arsenal are now poised to have a dynasty the next several years.

Let's stop talking this shit about fighting till the end and mentality monster.
The current crop will finish the season at best on 81 points, it's a very good side but, not elite.

We had a brutal schedule and a very young team and Arsenal needed major PGMOL help to get over the line. I am proud of the boys. They scrapped until the end and snatching a draw at the death is absolutely no more than we deserved. With proper ref'ing we could easily have won that.

It was done after Everton game (2 points dropped, guys, not 1 earned) and Arsenal's West Ham equaliser VAR BS confirmed it.

Less said about that performance the better. It was crazy that we were even in a title race, and almost took it to the last day. Both cups and a second place finish was probably an overachievement if anything. Overall, you have to consider it a pretty decent season all things considered.

This “parade” is going to feel a bit weird isn’t it.

Two cups is great and everything and I’m buzzing we won them, but given the way we fucked up in the league and in Europe, and with Pep, Bernardo and Stones leaving it’s going to feel more like a funeral cortège.
