Just had to find the replay to check I wasn't seeing things:


Mental. Could be a tactic to keep the box clear for the keeper to collect, to avoid the modern routines of blocking the keeper.

You need more than that though and the keeper has to be ready to collect anything near the edge of the 6 yard box.

Can't be a tactic. Unless because Mali ringed the outside of the box, Zambia just man marked. In which case good from Mali.

Yes that was a really odd piece of defending, from one of the angles they showed he just shuffled over to the side to allow the strike.

Don't know if there was a dummy or just a feint at a shot, but he just stepped out of the way and opened up the corner for a shot.

Decent match IMO, enjoyed it.
