Afghanistan

Starmer is taking Bodger Johnson to the cleaners in the HoC at the moment.
Frontbench Tories being little shits at the moment with Blackford. Fatuous interventions, and joking and laughing.

Rabb laughing with Boris. Johnson's body language shows he'd rather still be on his jollies.

They are a fucking embarrassment.

Teresa May seems to have been given pm by proxy by her part in the debate.

Anybody watching this will clearly see that the current government are an absolute shambles who don’t give a fuck about anybody.
Sadly Sky/BBC will show a different highlights package on their news reports.

They should be highlighting the actions of the home secretary,PM and Foreign secretary who seem like they'd rather talk to each other than listen to the debate.

Hoyle is too concerned about keeping his peerage than calling them out.

It will be interesting to see how this is portrayed in the media but I’d suggest there is now way to spin it in a positive way, it’s been so damning.

I'm intrigued as well.

Might just be Tory K spinning it with a Boris soundbite.

Front bench is getting a kicking, even off its own veteran MPs.

I agree... Where are they staying though? I can house 1 on my sofa, walking round my local City though I see hundreds of homeless and as awful as it sounds, I'd sooner one of those had first dibs.
That's a good debate to have.

Whilst standing on a picket line for the past 15 weeks. Everyone of them a charity soup kitchen shows up nearby at 0700. Average 50 people lined up waiting for sandwich and cuppa.

Back on topic Tom Tugendhat is giving an emotional speech for the Tele. Talking about mental health of veterans occuring from this decision.

Back on topic Tom Turdhat is giving an emotional speech for the Tele. Talking about mental health of veterans occuring from this decision.
Please change that to Tugendhat. He was speaking for Britain, not the government.

Johnson has been ridiculed by even his own side over this - if the fat fuck had an ounce of integrity - if he was a Right Honourable Gentleman he would just resign knowing that he is doing a job he is simply unqualified to do.

I know you hate the guy but what exactly, in the context of this thread, should he be resigning for?

The 2015 Documentary 'Bitter Lake' gives a good insight into the history of Afghanistan and how everything has gone the way it has, opened my eyes to a lot I never knew about how things came to be in the region and the geopolitical reasons behind a lot of it.

Having watched it, it is easy to see how this was the inevitable outcome with the people in charge seemingly also not understanding the situation (or not caring).

It is very sad and graphic at times but I think it is important for people to see and know the history if you have an interest, is available on iPlayer and is around 2hrs long.

This is the latest example of him being shown to be unfit for office - if you have been following the Commons debate you will have seen a litany of reasons exposed as to why he should quit - at the moment Johnny Mercer - a TORY MP - is currently killing him.

Adam Curtis docs tell it as it is. It's a refreshing and educational style of work. Right back to his stuff of nightmares. They've all been spot on.
