Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2022 | Sun 6th Feb - Final - Senegal v Egypt (Pg 36)

Watched the Cameroon v Ethiopia game this afternoon, some decent football by Cameroon but fuck me, they had about 5,000 fans in a 60,000 seater stadium. And they`re the fucking host nation, small time cunts!

You’re only allowed entry into the stadium if you’re vaxed. There’s about 5% of the country that fall into this bracket.

I watched it, I thought it was a very good game, both teams played decent football, and Ethiopia have some very good technical players too.

On the attendance, a lot of people in Africa have little or no money, and there is also a serious terrorist threat especially in northern Cameroon, but it would be easy to export it further south. I've no idea how much tickets cost for these games, nor what the disposable income is of the majority of people there.

I've only watched 1 other game so far, and the standard is generally not high, and most teams seem to be mostly interested in not conceding goals.
