Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2022 | Sun 6th Feb - Final - Senegal v Egypt (Pg 36)

Watched 45 mins of the Ivory Coast game earlier. What a load of rubbish. Shit football, shit play acting, shit officiating.
One of the players looked as if he was dead when they took he off on a stretcher, he was motionless with his arms folded across his chest. As soon as they put the stretcher down on the touchline he jumped up to get on the pitch??? Another one was put on a stretcher and carried about 10 foot off the pitch. while he was shouting at the linesman.
Great comedy value, but as a football spectacle totally useless.

Congrats to Comoros
Whoever they are
Tiny island archipelago northwest of Madagascar, population just over 1 million.

What I find weird is how much the media and the BBC in particular seem to be pushing this tournament. Every single group stage game has a full match report on the front page of the BBC football website, for example. I can't remember them ever doing this for the AFC Asia Cup, CONCACAF Gold Cup or even the Copa America. It's almost as if they've bought the TV rights for some of the games and they're afraid no-one will watch.

They've got the rights to show it, think Basketball on Sky.
