Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2022 | Sun 6th Feb - Final - Senegal v Egypt (Pg 36)

Sterling’s form at the start of the season shows that sometimes when you have a great tournament, it’s hard to get yourself going again. Kane (I know other stuff going on), Phillips, Mount, Shaw, Maguire, Stones are others. So many players get injured or lose form. This tournament will bite the dippers at some point.

I watched both semis and I must say that the quality on show was abysmal. I was expecting a lot more especially from last nights game but the speed was slow, passing was sloppy. Pitch probably didn’t help but I really didn’t enjoy those games.
Maybe I’m just spoilt watching city and expect a bit more.

A side note but I enjoy listening to nedum and was a nice touch that they showed his headed goal against spurs.
I also liked Efan Ekoku as co commentator. No bull shit no laying it on thick or talking for the sake of it.

the Ned/Janus bit was the highlight of the whole night.

Forgot this was on tbh. 0-0 after 20mins, probably best to avoid the nauseating Mane-Salah commentary.
