Does anyone seriously see any consistent progression with Mancini? The guy pulled the wool over my eyes the other month for a week or so, I will never be conned by the guy again!

As much as i like Bobby he has painted himself into a corner for me and its one he just wont get out of. He has stripped the squad of players that gave us a different option and i think it has suddenly dawned on him.

Yes. Constant progression. If you believe we are no better than we were under Hughes, I'd question how much of us you have actually watched.

With respect, Hughes had us scoring goals but conceding shit loads, Bobby came in and sorted the defence out but has failed to have us firing up front and lately, the goals are being conceded yet again at an alarming rate.

We are disjointed, one paced and one dimensional and whilst i would agree we are a better side now than under Hughes, big big problems still persist.

Really? what, 22 goals conceded in 25 games? Very alarming.

Yes we are conceding goals again at an alarming rate recently, we cant keep a clean sheet.

TBF he did say lately and it's 11 in 6 which is concerning I'm sure Bobby would agree.

Wow talk about an over reaction.

Chelsea went there and lost didnt they? and United drew?

Damocles,

We are too slow in the build up. The midfield movement is one paced, there is a lack of vision when Silva is absent.

This is why Yaya Toure often makes these long runs from the halfway line in the second half. He is frustrated by the lack of passing options, principally because he has no pass on when colleagues don't make themselves available.

how many more points have we got than this point last season? how much money have we spent to get them extra points?

where is our creativity when silva isnt on form?

has mancini won a cup tie that hasnt resulted in a replay?

we seem to adopt an italian way of playing, strong at the back, possession game, dont leak goals etc, but we leak goals and dont create a sniff. its a total contradiction.

Anyone who says that Hughes's rein way less exciting clearly either hated hughes or didnt watch the games. we played some top stuff under him at times. mancini is just drab.

The facts are we are 1 point ahead of where we were after 25 games last season.

Having said that Bobby had managed us for 8 of those games last year

MH managed us for 17 games last season - attaining 29 points
Bobby Manc over the same first 17 games of the season attained 32 points.

So the stats show some progression has been made, perhaps its not enough progression for our impatient fans.

I was very excited to watch Hughes take us to 10th and 6th, yes.

I'd rather be bored to the title, than entertained to scraping Europa, but that's just me

I wondered where the Mancini out posters had been hiding since the Fulham game, but then remembered they havent had a leg to stand on! If finishing in the top 4, with the possibility of 2 trophies isnt progression then you need your head testing.

Sorry mate, but that's as daft as the media castigating us because we're not beating teams 8 or 9 - nil. Money doesn't equal instant success, and anyone who thinks it does hasn't been watching football for very long.
