After Mancini would we prefer Pep or Jose for City's manager

We are in the quarter final of the FA cup with a great chance of a wembley appearance, still in europe and third in the league.

Sound like just the right time to speculate about our next manager.

Pointless, boring, shit, thread.

This is the best post on the thread. It's only March and we're still on track.

Incidentally, the fact that people think that Mourinho and Guardiola would jump at the chance to manage City seems well-coupled with the demented view that we should be winning every match 4-0. We're not Real Madrid quite yet.

This and This. The two best replies on this thread. Why can't we just support and stick by a manager? We whine about constant media speculation but by simply looking at the thread title it is clear we aren't helping ourselves. Support Bobby Manc, Support your club and follow the rollercoaster that is Manchester City!

If two of the best managers in world football are becoming available and both want a move to the PL with their next move IMO there is nothing wrong with discussing their respective merits.
Pep has been in a four year contract with Barca but if reports from Spain are true looks interested in a move away. Another thread suggested Jose also wanted a move to the PL.
I agree we should try and support Mancini for the rest of the season but if things arent going as planned on the field we should be prepared to at least discuss options.
In the last few games incl. tonight our players looked short of motivation. Maybe with the weather difficulties it was hard to breathe or maybe they are exhausted from the travelling or too many games, but even Tevez looked disinterested.

I'd probably go in a different direction no matter what the outcome of this season is, but that's just my uneducated opinion.
