C'mon charlie sam didn't have the rep this kid has, we could say xavvi looks good on youtube but so did sam get my drift?? some players really are the real deal :O)

I agree, its just the pessimist in me I'm always reluctant to go off anything in those clips, lets face it any one of us could look like a world beater on one of those. Like I said in my initial post I've never heard of him so I'll bow to your superior knowledge on this mate.

I know what you're saying pal, but the fact barca/real are linked gives an indication on his talents etc... he could come here and flop but i would say that would bne down to culture, weather, fast paced hustle bustle prem football not down to ability.

However Henrique, who was linked with Chelsea in December, has now admitted that he has no interest in joining City.

"I don't want to play for Manchester City," he said.

"I'd prefer to play for a big club in Europe such as Milan, Real Madrid or Barcelona."

From last January when Robinho went to Santos on loan.

Never wanted this guy. He doesn't look very pacey, and he just had surgery on his knee. And he's Brazilian.

A swedish sport site wrote an article about Citys interest in Paulo Henrique Chagas de Lima.

A Brazilian from Santos.
Let him have a run out tonight and see what he does.

very talented, but lacks pace

Bob -on. More importantly, the amount of time he gets on the ball in Brazil is infinitely greater than he would get in the prem. Not to pre-judge but City is the wrong club in the wrong league for this boy I think. The last thing we need is another Robinho.

We're better off scouting La Liga and looking to unearth the new Silva, in a way Arsenal got hold of Fabregas and Merida, and they did with Pique. From that perspective we've already started that in the form of Juan Roman from Espanyol, who looks a terrific prospect already! Not to tar every Brazillian with the same brush, but the Spanish seem to be more cut out for the English game, but they do have a technical likeness to the Brazillians.
