Yeah was there that day too. Nil nil if I remember right, nine men as Pollock walked too (but not aggressively!)

Went to the Bournemouth game where he was sent off for aggressive walking by a ref who had previously been demoted for incompetence who had been recently brought back. I think he sent another City player off a min or so before Horlock. A very memorable City away day in an era where my mental health got utterly fucked by being addicted to this club. Crazy but very enjoyable days.

He's another one of those fellas who, despite having no obvious connection with the club or the city when he was growing up, seems to have formed a bond with us. Goater, Dickov, big Andy, Sergio, Dave, Zabba, Kev, Vinny, etc etc. Once we get into your bloodstream, you're hooked!
If ever the saying
Once again Blue Always a Blue
Is meant for a certain ex player then Kevin Horlock is that guy.
Obviously he's not alone on a list of many loyal City ex players/ Fans.

My brother did some work on his house

He gave our kid the squad shirt he had when we were relegated to Div 3

Long sleeve blue kappa kit with number 3 on the back and the nationwide patches on

Our kid gave it to me

Instead of looking after it I wore it for doing odd jobs around the house, it ended up covered in paint etc

What a waste of a shirt

One of life's regrets for sure.

He was our best midfielder from 1997 to 2002.

Scored in the play off and and penalty and is modest about it. Not like the other one talking amount contributing to the 2023 CL win, entertaining questions along that line. He was the best finisher we had chance for chance, far more clinical than Goater, but a bit too slow to have a big impact when in the PL, but still a serviceable player there for 2 seasons. His debut v Oxford away was remembered for Kinky having a free run, but you don't get that without Horlock putting in a shift.
