Great news for us City without Aguero is just unthinkable just shows how much he loves playing for us and how much more he has to offer us hopefully he will stay injury free for a while too.

Him and Pep are the face of the new chapter that is about to begin at City.
Probably the most exciting chapter of them all. Good football, great players and a sprinkling of academy lads getting their chance too.

Aguero at 27 could be forgiven for perhaps thinking it might be time for a change. He deserves to be playing for a club that should be consistently challenging and winning champions leagues.
The fact he is willing to commit to us for so long, tells me everything I need to know about where this club is going.
Next in line for the captaincy now in my opinion.

There's no issue him signing up, although he hadn't done so up to couple weeks ago.

He can only stay if we want him to stay. I was half-joking with my original remark but Pep doesn't really play with an out-and-out striker or certainly didn't at Barcelona. I was watching him today and on one occasion in the first half an attack broke down. Leicester moved the ball upfield and we won possession in our own half. He was still 20 yards offside and strolling nonchalantly back at that point. The saving grace is that he will come deep and pick up the ball but we know that being a star player holds no sway with Pep. You have to play the way he wants.

He didn't at Barca purely because Messi wanted to play centrally. He started off playing Zlatan there as an out and out striker but Messi complained, so the false 9 was born.

At Bayern, he plays with Lewandowski as an out and out striker, with Muller supporting him.

Exactly. He should retire with a bagful of Champions League medals. Everything about him deserves that. I just hope we can get him one in the coming years. A joy to watch.

Impossible to dislike. If he was to turn round in a year or so and say i have to leave to fulfil my ambitions, i don't see many blues holding a grudge. The fact he isn't, is just incredible!!
