If he is to go hopefully he'll leave us with another iconic goal to seal silverware. A strike like Vinnys v Leicester to win the CL would be fitting.

Yep, he saw us struggle to score ten goals at home that season and thought he could improve on that. Mind, we FOCs in CBL3 could have netted at least a dozen. In fact, IIRC, we didn't score one fuckin' goal from New Year's Day to the season end!

If anything, Real Madrid were the club of his attention. But obviously with Aguero's past at Atleti that would never have materialised. I'm fairly certain at some point during Mancini's tenure Aguero actually came out and said he would have signed for Real Madrid had they made a move on him prior to joining us.

If he had wanted to go to Madrid he would have gone a long time ago. According to the press he has been leaving for Real ever since he signed for us.

I think the only team he has mentioned has been going back to Independiente to finish his career.
 
It was bad enough that Dave left last year without us getting to see him play in person one last time. But for Aguero and maybe Ferna to go in the same scenario is really painful.

If true, would not be surprising.

Between the Claim from Spain re barcelona, the murmours re Haaland, Pep's comments, and the lack of rush to offer contracts till his fitness and sharpness is back to what we know of him, maybe there is a bit of coincidental alignement to read into.

Either way, he deserves whatever he wants, and will be our legend no matter where he goes.

I remember Sergio going on record last year and said he tried to get Dave to stay another year so they could finish together.

He bought an apartment in the city centre. from what I’ve heard he was going to move there for the final year Could be wrong though
