I’d love to have the mighty Kun back at his vigorous best, ripping defences apart and scoring every week, but I somehow doubt that we’ll get much more than 20 games a season out of him from hereon in.
That 20 games may sound great but the fact of the matter is that we play differently with him than without him, so whenever he comes back in we need to alter our play and get up to speed with him slotting in.
I think that unsettles us for a few games and therefore isn’t such a good thing so I’d let him go.
However, if we were to bring in a similar ‘off the shoulder of the defender’ / explosive striker then I’d definitely keep him as he could interchange with said similar striker without upsetting the general balance of the team.
