I gotta admit, I do think he’s being edged out of the club. It does feel like he’s kinda being shown that his future isn’t here and that he should move on.

I guess it might sound like a bad thing to a lot of fans but maybe when you’re in management you have to do these difficult things because they’re best for the club going forward.

We had to win the game tonight. And maintain control. Maybe if we had gone ahead, he would have come on. At 80 minutes, to bring him on and risk a drop in pressing and potential of a breakaway late goal could have put us out of the competition.

I do agree, in general, just not in tonight's case, i can see why pep was cautious in not bringing him on.

Also, if that were true, fernandinho who still hasn't been offered a new contract wouldn't have played either.

Pep may show a hint here and there but ultimately he will use whatever players he sees fit regardless of the message, be that Sergio, dinho, garcia or anyone.

He deserves a new contract even if its for 1 year after what he has done for the club over the last few years

Pep has politely and respectfully made it clear that it is time to move on and I’m sure discussions are taking place with him and his people because that’s the type of club we are these days. As I keep saying, sewing the league up will give us a chance to give him a proper send off, maybe as captain in the last game with the trophy presentation in front of fans.

The big problem for Aguero is that he needs games to prove his fitness, but most games are must win for us at the moment and he’s not being selected on merit. Hopefully we’ll clinch the title early to give him starts, but everything points to an exit this summer, unless he’s willing to accept a bit-part role on a reduced salary. Shame if it’s come to this, but that’s life. We’re not realistically going to extend his deal on his current salary, particularly if we’re trying to bring Haaland in.

People need to understand Pep & the club will move on with a new young CF in the summer, he aint playing because Pep doesn't see a way in or a position he can hold down
We don't see the training sessions but we are not daft to think he's Sergio of old nowhere near it, he can't sprint 20-40 yards working without the ball then sprint back in he just hasn't got it
What I do believe is he will get his swong song in the last few weeks when the league is won & possibly a Wembley treat in the Semi & League Cup Final depending on the score & injuries or who we get

Hopefully he will manage another hatrick or just a couple of goals but we are now seeing the best CF in a City shirt come to an end
I don't believe he will be offered a new deal his big wage will go towards hopefully Haaland

Bloody hell mate he's 30-odd not 80-odd. I am an unfit 60 year old and even I can manage a couple of 40 yard sprints.
