He's in the perfect place to shoot, he's got ahead of the man marking him and looks to be trying to place it just inside the right hand goal post but if you slow it down the ball just pops up a touch and this is what I think makes for a miss-hit. I actually prefer this explanation because if he's not shooting from there then he needs to be told.

Would not disagree but inftont of goal GJ doesnt come close to Aguero. He gets his tap ins but for me there needs to be lots more...misses way too many chances...fodens 2nd goal last night came from a complete miscue by him

He does, but in this situation he shouldn't be, so if he chose to pass he's done wrong. I think he slightly overran the ball, or the pass curled a touch, hence why he tried to side-foot guide it in but couldn't get enough behind it. I'm sure he'll claim the assist though.

He's the club record scorer, top scorer this season, won us countless games with his goals, just because Jesus does something right occasionally doesn't mean he's a replacement, as proved by whenever Kun's been out of the team and we've been desperate for him to come back each time as Jesus squanders chance after chance.

Different type of players. Kun is a far better goal scorer. Gabby is far better at bringing others into things and creating space for others. He defends better from the front, is one of the best pressers in the team. We don't usually have a problem scoring goals when he is in the team which tells you a lot.

Unbelievably bad luck for Kun and City but that’s the hand we are constantly dealt.

Jesus is a fine, fine number 9. If we can keep everyone else fit over the next month we have a chance of winning the FA Cup and CL.

Foden, Sane, Sterling, Bernardo, Mahrez and Jesus is still plenty of options.
