Aguero injures hamstring on international duty

"Arsenal have been put on red alert after long-term target Karim Benzema expressed his disappointment after being continually substituted at Real Madrid this season, saying that he is "fed up" with his situation"

Id like us to bid for him in Jan because we cannot depend on a single top class striker for a year.

Bony is a very good striker who given a bit of game time will excel. Ihenacho is also a very highly regarded youngster who needs game time against poorer opposition at home and will score goals.

Name one club where their top striker replacement is of the level of Benzema? We don't need him! We can cope.

Try telling that to Hodgson.....only briefly heard it and think he was talking about rooney, but he said "I'm not going to risk him,United have some big games coming up"......or did my ears deceive me,can anyone else confirm this?

Yep and for some reason England managers and the fa bend over for the likes of Liverpool and the scum but other country managers only care about themselves and there country! It's what it is

My feeling is he will be back for the Liverpool game on Nov 21 so will have to make do for the next 7 games.

Importantly he has to be 100 per cent right this time upon his return.

You really hope its the last time this season he will miss games through injury but his history says he will miss many games to injury each season and something will happen to him again this season.

I agree with those that suggested his reaction was one of complete devastation but you could hardly be surprised.

Notwithstanding the pecking order I would have started with Tevez anyway.

Good shout as long as Real Madrid don't have our pants down price wise as they usually do with most clubs . . . He's the right age and is roughly a one in two striker for Madrid which isn't bad for a player who is complaining about his amount of time on the pitch , so yes might be worth considering especially if Aguero is out for sometime now before the window as we will see once and for all if bony is Upto it in that time which is a hot topic of opinion on this forum at the moment
