Aguero injures hamstring on international duty

Is it me, or does there appear to be a greater percentage chance of a player getting injured representing his country as opposed to his club? Perhaps they fail to fully appreciate the individual needs of their players at the national teams.

The link between travel and risk of injury is now undeniable. Throw in a player carrying an injury and it would have been a surprise if it didn't happen.

People play sports people get injured not a surprise. .
Zabaletta and Delph first time around managed to do it training with City at home.

Professional footballers probably play too much in general for which both clubs and International organisers are to blame.

If the player wants to play for his country which most do then its tough luck until the rules are changed to decrease the number of matches that are played which I don't see happening any time soon.

Aguero is our second best player after Silva. Arguably better when on song, but I place him second as he is always fucking injured. This guy has glass legs and I can't remember the last time he played a full season without injury.
Has the potential to be much better, but he needs to toughen up.

If he was off all the time with a cold or knocks I'd agree.. But you can't just magical tell a hamstring to toughen up. I'm so gutted about this news. I think we really need to look at the medical staff.

Funny how he won the golden boot last year when always injured. Must have been a wet dream I guess.

Maybe its a muscle inbalancement, quads are to big for his hamstrings so there is always risk of injuring the hamstring,if i recall i think micheal owen had the same problem

If we don't win the title this year it will be down to injuries. We are the best side but we have been hammered with injuries to all of our best players. I have never known anything like this season.

Let's hope Kompany and Toure are back shortly because we will need those two if Aguero and Silva out for a period.

What's up with Nasri?
