Rules are odd. It's 1-1 after 40 mins so now it's next goal wins, and a player has to go off every 3 mins..

It's the same rules as last year, but correct, it's a bit unusual based on a normal 90 minute match.

It's not actually "next goal wins", it's a target goal that is +1 over where the team leading after 40 minutes sets the target.

For example, if a team is up 5-3 after 40 minutes, the target score is 6, and the first team that gets there wins. The team that is up 5-3 has much more likely chance to get there, but last year, there were some WILD comebacks, sometimes 4 goals scored in extra time by the team down at the end of regulation.

It's just that Bayern-Dortmund game ended 1-1 so, that was a true "next goal wins" target score of 2.
