Aguero to Real Madrid?

The idea of Madrid and Aguero wanting to get in bed together is plausible and that makes it an easy story to speculate on. I wouldn't bet against it happening one day but the idea of City swapping him for Benzema (or anyone else) in January seems a stretch. If it comes to it, there's ultimately no point in keeping any player that does not want to be here but City are rich enough to choose to be bloody minded if someone tries it on at the wrong time.

Hopefully, Kun will want to stay at City for several more years.

The original source of this story is just some Czech newspaper, so there is a 99% chance there is nothing to it.

In the 1% chance there is, it'd be a very unappealing deal for City. Benzema's 2011/12 form has yet to reappear and we already have Negredo + Dzeko so it'd just be stockpiling the big centre forwards at the expense of our most dynamic forward.

Khedira is a good midfielder but we could sign better... in fact I think Lars Bender is a better player and will probably move next summer, hopefully with City being one of the interested parties.

A total non-starter. Maybe if Madrid offered Varane + Di Maria + money or something, we might start to think about it, but even then Aguero would be very hard to replace unless Jovetic becomes a sensation.
