Aguero's greed

Great strikers are often greedy /thread

Seriously, it doesn't bother me, it's a proof of confidence when a striker takes responsability and initiative.

Better a striker who'll have a go than be always looking to pass the buck with that special pass.

Today an Aguero run opened up the whole penalty area for Silva and instead of taking it on himself with what looked like a clear run to goal with just the keeper to beat he tried to thread it though to Aguero who had two on him. He got off a shot from an angle but Silva had the best chance.

He does this nearly all the time, his goal at Blackpool shows what he can do so why doesn't do it?

I hope Silva will be more gready than him !

Silva needs to shoot sometimes instead of passing, specially in the counter attack.

I suspect that Silva is struggling a bit for confidence just now , some of his passing today was off-key , and he appears a bit 'shot-shy' at the moment .......

I don't agree that Kun is greedy. I can clearly remember two occasions (I'm sure there were many more) last season when Sergio could have taken a shot, but chose to pass to a better-placed team-mate, who then proceeded to score. One WA Džeko; the other I can't recall.

And not forgetting how hard he worked on his début to keep the ball in and pass it back to Merlin to score the third against Swansea.

He may be greedy in certain situations - I couldn't care less if he is - but he's a team player too!

To be fair to Aguero i think Yaya played him in a little too late today , and as he shaped to shoot he was caught by the Arsenal defender ...... that seemed to finish him off and he soon departed.

He really should have scored when he put it wide though , it's likely Dzeko would have finished that off if given the chance!

this will do for me

Seemed a bit stroppy at times, but im not gonna get on his back. Hardly say he is greedy to a fault though.

He's a great player - he looked fucked today after 75 minutes - there's better to come.
