What I do find curious is why its always Stevie who speaks up and none of the other players. It was the same last season. Ah well whatever.
He's the biggest name over here at the moment so he's the one doing all the press conferences. He's simply answering the questions put to him.

Whenever any new manager comes in there are players that like his style and those that don't.

The class player doesn't really bother about who is in charge if anything if a manager puts unneccessary obstacles in his way he overcomes it with ease each and every time.

A poor player spits the dummy when things don't go there way and tries to disrupt the mind set of other players that are suseptable to his behaviour.

A good manager quickly learns the strengths and weaknesses of each player and works out which formation and which players each week will give the side maximum opportunity to win every game.

He doesn't have to like certain individuals , he doesn't have to play favourites in fact to the contrary he does everything that he is in control of to get maximum return for mimimum effort , that's right minimum effort , goes home every night refreshed and wakes up every morning feeling better about himself and the team than the day before.

One of the biggest curses in modern football is the group of shysters who make wadges of cash, for doing very little, from one player simply moving to a new club.

It's in the interest of their bloated bank accounts that a move for anybody for whom they have a finger in the pie, goes ahead. High profile players will always be targeted. No sooner have they signed for someone than paper talk (agents) are linking them with the next club.

Robinho can leave City the day after the Emerald Prince hangs up his boots.

Great interview, well played Stevie aswell. Cant wait for these 2 to be working together in the same team again...

--------De Jong--------

---Ireland-----Barry----

-Bellers----Ade----Robbie

^^^ Thats special.

I can't wait to see them playing in the same team again. Some of the link up play between the two of them last season was amazing. It really did remind me of Arsenal's style, the ball would bounce around like a pin ball machine.

where's Dave I want to read his chirpy but grounded interpretation on this one?!

It's a slightly positive sign, but that's all it is.

It's Ireland's opinion that he will stay. I don't think Ireland is well-versed in the media enough to be spinning, so I think it's what be thinks - that the lad seems happy enough. They are clearly not best mates so it's not an insight into the inner workings of Robinho's mind, but it's proof that Robinho isn't telling them all "I'm off".

It isn't time to be breaking out the champagne, put it that way, but it gives me a little hope.

Is that grounded enough for you Matt, my friend?

Never doubted Robbie. Plus I reckon we'll see a better side to Tevez (who imo has been one of our better players) once he's back.

oooooh. I'm erect just at the idea of Robinho and Ireland back together again.

All the signs still point to Robinho wanting out IMO, even this article throws more doubt on his commitment.

Good to see that everything is still Elano's fault though.
