How did you come to know he was a G4S guy?
It was on his blazer mate..

Rival security firms with the stewards or the same company? It was on his blazer mate..
An incident like that will no doubt have ruined the day for you and your wife and all over something trivial that would not have happened had you been spoken to in the right manner. The knob should be sacked for manhandling you and for totally ruining your match day experience. The guy is a knob. All that and we lost as well, shit weekend.
Do stewards need SIA licenses? I'm guessing not, but some people put on a uniform and get carried away. Was assaulted by a police officer back around 2006 in the south stand. All I got what a letter of apology and saying that more training would be provided. Thanks PB.
That's just the point, within 10 seconds of him confronting me had hold of both my arms and was threatening to have me removed. All I did was turn round at the top of the aisle, (on the way to the bar 2 mins before half time), to watch a City attack and he was immediately in my face. The conversation went something like "where's your seat?", so I told him. He then said "well either sit in it now or move away", his tone was confrontational and totally uncalled for, so I advised him to ask me nicely and I'd be happy to move. This is when he grabbed my arms and said "move on now or your being ejected". This from a kid who looked about 12, who had obviously no comprehension of "customer relations" or basic good manners. He then spent the second half stopping at my row, looking at the seat numbers and smirking, making it obvious he was "on to us" with the veiled threat of "further action". Petulant, arrogant idiot, who's got no place doing the job he's employed to do.
On the way out at full time, he kept at it and it escalated to further arguments as we were leaving. So much so, that he was held back by the Group 4 guy at the top of the aisle.
One of his supervisors spoke to me afterwards and tried to placate me by saying "don't worry, he wont be on your aisle next time", but I don't see why any other aisle should suffer this idiot in the future.
